This is my 2021 Gibson SG Standard ’61 in the classic Vintage Cherry finish — the one that just screams rock and roll. If you’ve ever picked up an SG, you know how fast and comfortable these SlimTaper necks are, and this one plays as smooth as they come. The tone is everything you’d expect: bright, punchy, and warm, with the kind of bite that makes you want to keep playing long after you should’ve put it down.
Condition-wise, it’s been played and enjoyed, not locked away. There are a couple of dings and bumps on the body that I tried to capture in the photos, but nothing major and nothing that affects how it plays. Structurally it’s solid, the frets are in great shape, and it’s been set up so it’s ready to go right out of the case.
Speaking of which, it comes with the original brown Gibson hard case with the red interior — always a nice touch.
