The Reverend Pete Anderson Signature Eastsider T in Satin Vintage Burst is one of those under-the-radar models that players quietly hold onto. Designed with Pete Anderson — best known for his years shaping Dwight Yoakam’s razor-sharp country tone — this isn’t just another T-style. It’s built to deliver clarity, punch, and versatility without losing that snap and attitude a great Tele should have.

The Satin Vintage Burst finish on this one is absolutely killer. The matte sheen gives it a subtle, broken-in look that feels organic and effortless — no glare, no plastic gloss, just wood and color. The burst is deep and smoky around the edges with that classic golden center, and the satin treatment lets the grain breathe. It’s clean. Extremely clean. The kind of clean where polishing the hardware feels risky because the finish itself is so perfect you don’t want to disturb it.

Condition is excellent and presents nearly like new. The only real note is some natural patina on the chrome hardware. It hasn’t been aggressively polished, intentionally, to preserve the integrity of the satin finish and avoid any unwanted shine spots or swirl marks. The patina actually complements the vibe — it looks honest, not worn, but also super easy to clean up.

This model typically features a Korina body, which is a huge part of its personality. Korina adds warmth and midrange fullness compared to traditional ash or alder, giving this guitar a slightly thicker, more authoritative voice while still retaining snap. It’s paired with a comfortable medium oval neck and a rosewood fretboard that feels smooth and broken-in right out of the gate. The fretwork is excellent, and the setup is dialed — low, comfortable action with no fuss.

The pickups are Reverend’s custom-designed set for the Pete Anderson model — voiced to retain Tele twang but with more girth and balance. The bridge has bite and clarity without ice-pick harshness. The neck is round, warm, and articulate. What really separates this guitar, though, is the factory push-pull control, which engages Reverend’s bass contour circuit. This is not a coil split. Instead, it allows you to roll off low end from the pickups, effectively tightening and brightening the tone. It can take you from full, thick punch to lean, cutting snap with one pull. It’s incredibly useful and far more musical than a typical split — especially live.

This is why players who know Reverend tend to swear by them. The design is thoughtful. The tones are usable. The feel is immediate.

It came from a serious collector who kept it as part of a large, carefully maintained collection — played lightly, then stored properly in its Reverend hard shell case, which is included.

Of all the Tele-style guitars handled recently, this one stands out. It has that immediate response when you dig in, but also cleans up beautifully. It’s refined without being sterile. Modern without losing character.
