There’s something immediately inviting about this Limited Edition PRS SE Custom 24 Exotic in Laurel Burl. The top has a really compelling look to it—full of those swirling, unpredictable burl patterns that make you pause for a second. It’s the kind of figuring that feels a little special, and it definitely gives this guitar its own identity.
It’s in like-new condition with almost no evidence of play. Everything feels fresh, tight, and well-kept, the way a good PRS should. The action is set low and plays cleanly across the neck, and the overall feel is smooth and responsive. It’s one of those guitars you pick up expecting to test for a minute and end up playing longer than you planned. Recently received a professional setup.
Tonally, it hits the mark: clear, balanced, and surprisingly versatile. The pickups handle clean tones really well, and when you push it, the guitar keeps its articulation without getting muddy. The trem feels solid, the tuning stability is dependable, and the whole instrument feels put together with intention.
PRS didn’t release many of these Exotic models, and finding a Laurel Burl top this clean and this visually interesting isn’t common. It’s a great-looking guitar that also genuinely plays well—no compromises either way.
