I’ve handled a lot of PRS guitars over the years, but the Dustie Waring CE 24 sits in a completely different lane—this is PRS built specifically for modern, aggressive players who still want precision and clarity. And this particular one really shows why.
The Gray Black Wrap finish over this top is just unreal. The flame has that tight, rippling pattern that shifts depending on the angle, and the satin finish gives it a darker, more understated look compared to gloss PRS tops. It’s one of those guitars that doesn’t scream at you—it just pulls you in the longer you look at it.
Condition-wise, it’s in very good shape. There are a few small bumps around the body (pictured), but nothing major. The satin neck shows some light play wear, which is honestly expected on these and actually makes it feel faster and more broken-in. The neck and frets themselves are in excellent condition—frets were just polished and the board was oiled.
Now where this guitar really separates itself is in the spec and feel.
This model comes loaded with Dustie Waring signature Mojotone “DW Tomahawk” pickups, and they’re a huge part of the identity here. They’re tight, articulate, and aggressive—but not muddy or overly compressed. You get that modern metal clarity on the low end, but chords still ring out with definition, and leads cut without getting harsh. They’re way more dynamic than most high-output pickups.

The bolt-on maple neck with satin finish gives this guitar a snap and attack you don’t get from set-neck PRS models. It’s fast, super comfortable, and pairs really well with the maple fretboard—everything feels immediate and responsive.
This one is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series trem, and it’s dialed in right. Balanced, stable, and smooth without fighting you. I just put on a fresh set of 10s, so you’re skipping the entire Floyd setup headache. Action is set low and clean—it plays effortlessly.
