This is an exceptionally rare 2014 PRS Brushstroke 24 in Obsidian—one of a very small limited run of fewer than 200 instruments produced. Based on the Paul’s Guitar platform, the Brushstroke 24 combines a carved figured maple 10-top, mahogany body and neck, 24-fret layout, PRS tremolo, and the unmistakable custom Brushstroke bird inlays that make these instantly recognizable.

The Obsidian finish is unreal in person. It has a deep black-to-gold appearance over an aggressively figured maple top, with movement and contrast that changes depending on the light. The top is absolutely the centerpiece here, and the unique bird inlays bring the whole guitar together in a way that feels much more special than a standard Core model.

This model came from PRS with Narrow 408 pickups, a three-way selector, and two mini-toggle switches that split each pickup independently. That gives you full humbucker tones, convincing single-coil-style sounds, and mixed configurations without the noticeable volume drop that many coil-split guitars have. It is an incredibly flexible setup—clean tones stay articulate, the neck pickup has a full and musical response, and the bridge position has plenty of punch and clarity for higher-gain playing.

It also features the PRS tremolo bridge and locking tuners for excellent tuning stability, along with a 24-fret neck that feels fast and comfortable without losing the substantial, premium feel you would expect from a high-end USA Core PRS.

This particular Brushstroke 24 is in excellent condition with little to no visible play wear. The frets are excellent, the guitar plays and sounds amazing, and intonation is spot on. It includes the original paisley PRS hardshell case, hangtags, paperwork, tremolo arm, and the complete original case candy.

One note on pickups: the original owner listed the bridge pickup as a PRS Bret Mason pickup in the listing title. I cannot confirm whether that pickup came from the factory that way or was installed later, so I am listing it as unknown. Everything else appears to be original.
