Some guitars feel like they were never meant to be tossed around or gigged—they were built to be kept, admired, and appreciated by someone who understands how rare a piece really is.

This Talman Prestige is one of those.

Still has the plastic pickguard and pickup covering!

In the mid-2010s, Ibanez quietly released one of the coolest left-field prestige models they’ve ever made: a Japanese-crafted, boutique-leaning Talman that blended vintage offset swagger with top-tier playability and a surprisingly versatile triple-single pickup layout. These weren’t mass-produced. They weren’t marketed heavily. Most players never even saw one in person. And the few that did knew instantly they were holding something special.

This particular TM1803M-TFB is the kind of example collectors keep their eyes open for: Tri-Fade Burst, premium ash body, maple Prestige neck, and a featherweight build—just a hair over 7 lbs, making it one of the most comfortable, resonant offsets you’ll ever shoulder.

Condition-wise, it’s about as close to “new old stock” as you’re realistically going to find. It’s been virtually unplayed, stored carefully, and treated like a display piece. The finish is glassy and vibrant, the pickguard is clean, the frets are untouched, and every screw, surface, and contour has that unmistakable Prestige sparkle to it. If you handed this to someone blindfolded, they’d assume it just came off the wall of a boutique shop.

The tone is classic Talman character—bright, quirky, open—but with the refinement of a Japanese-built instrument: articulate cleans, great attack, and a musical midrange that makes the guitar feel alive under your hands. It’s the sleeper of the Prestige era, and easily one of the best Talmans Ibanez ever made.

It comes complete with the premium Ibanez Prestige hard case, hang tags, manual, and original case candy—exactly what collectors want to see.

If you’ve been waiting for the “right one,” the one you can keep in pristine condition or finally put into rotation, this is it. These don’t just show up… and they definitely don’t show up like this.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured
