This is a 2025 Gibson SG Standard ’61 in Classic White, and the first thing I noticed when I picked it up was the weight. At only 5.81 lbs on my scale, this thing feels almost ridiculously light. Between that and the thin SG body, it is one of those guitars that immediately feels easy to move around with before you even plug it in.
Classic White is also such a good look on this model. The slightly warm white finish with the small black pickguard, black reflector knobs and nickel hardware gives it a much sharper look than the usual Vintage Cherry SG. This particular one is also exceptionally clean, so the whole guitar still has that crisp, almost-new appearance.
The original 60s Burstbuckers sound excellent. There is plenty of bite and attack from the bridge pickup, while the neck stays full without getting overly muddy. They have a nice open quality that works really well with the SG platform, and the electronics passed inspection with no issues.
Playability is probably my favorite part of this one. The SlimTaper neck feels quick, the action is legitimately low, and the frets feel incredibly smooth. I normally expect to make at least a small adjustment when a guitar comes in, but the current setup on this one is excellent exactly where it sits. The neck is straight, intonation is spot on, and it feels effortless all the way up the board.
Condition is excellent and very close to new. The body, back and neck all inspected extremely clean, the frets are excellent, and there is very little indication that this one has seen much play time at all.
It includes the original Gibson hardshell case along with the complete original case candy.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
