This Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster in the ultra-rare Tropical Turquoise finish is something special. From the vintage-style neck binding to the rich rosewood fingerboard, this guitar not only looks phenomenal but plays effortlessly. It’s in incredible condition with very minimal play time—clearly a case queen that’s been well cared for.

This one’s been professionally upgraded with a set of Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups, giving it an even bolder, glassier tone with vintage snap. It also includes the original EJ pickups and their Custom Shop packaging, so you get the best of both worlds.

It ships with a vintage-style Fender case, original case candy, and Fender paperwork.

Manufacturer’s description:

“Just like he redefines the electric guitar every day, Eric Johnson and Fender redefine, and redesign, the celebrated Stratocaster. Adding special contouring to the neck and body, this Strat features a lightweight, two-piece alder body with a deep 1957-style shape, a vintage-tinted, one-piece quartersawn maple neck with a 1957-style ‘Soft V’ profile and 12”-radius, round-laminated rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets. Three specially-voiced Eric Johnson single-coil pickups with counter-sunk screws run through advanced five-way switching and a very special vintage-style tremolo setup featuring silver-painted block, ’57-style string recess and five springs. A true tone machine, down to the last screw.”

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play.
