This is one of those Strats that instantly tells you it was built for players who want performance without compromise.

This 2004 Fender American Floyd Rose Classic HSS Stratocaster is a 50th Anniversary model, complete with the commemorative neck plate, and it’s been thoughtfully upgraded in a way that genuinely elevates what was already a unique factory offering.

The standout here is the USA Kahler Hybrid bridge upgrade. This isn’t a gimmick or a knockoff — it’s a seriously premium piece of hardware that transforms how this guitar feels and functions. You get the smoothness and stability you’d expect from a Floyd-style system, but with roller saddles, mini fine tuners, and the option to run it fully floating or locked down as a fixed bridge. Nothing sticks up awkwardly, so palm muting feels completely natural — a massive plus if you actually play instead of just collect.

Pickup-wise, it keeps the classic HSS versatility:

  • Fender Texas Special single coils in the neck and middle for that gritty, vocal Strat character
  • Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge, adding warmth, punch, and authority when you lean into gain

It covers a ton of ground effortlessly — from glassy cleans and bluesy edge to thick, singing lead tones.

Condition is very good for a 2004 instrument. There are small scratches and minor dings here and there, as you’d expect from a guitar that’s been played and loved, but the overall finish still has that deep, showroom gloss you only see on guitars that have spent most of their life protected in a hard case.

This one includes a hard shell case, original paperwork, and hang tag, which is getting harder and harder to find with these. Models like this don’t surface often — especially in this configuration, with this bridge, and with the 50th Anniversary details intact.

If you’re looking for a Strat that stands apart from the sea of standard builds — something with real engineering, real upgrades, and real history — this is it.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
