This one has a really addictive kind of feel to it—light in the hands, resonant, and alive before you even plug it in. The PRS SE Zach Myers is one of those models that carved out its own lane in the SE lineup, thanks to the semi-hollow construction, shorter 24.5" scale, and single f-hole design. It gives you that warmer, more relaxed response under the fingers, but still keeps enough bite and focus to cover a lot of ground. The stock formula on these was a semi-hollow mahogany body with maple top and flame maple veneer, a rosewood board with bird inlays, and PRS SE 245 humbuckers. (reverb.com)
This particular one still shows exactly why people get attached to this model. The top has a ton of visual movement, and in person the flame really jumps. Tonally, it has that nice mix of sweetness and push that makes these so easy to keep playing—fuller and more resonant than a lot of solidbody singlecuts, but still direct enough to stay articulate. The shorter scale and PRS-designed layout make it feel slinky and comfortable, and this era is especially known for being a very player-friendly take on the singlecut idea. (reverb.com)
Condition-wise, the only real issue is the bump on the back corner. It’s visible, but it does not affect how the guitar plays or responds. Outside of that one spot, the rest of the guitar is very clean and presents closer to like new. That makes this a great chance to grab one of the more desirable SE signature models without paying clean-example money.
What stood out to me
Semi-hollow build with single f-hole — more resonance and a slightly airier feel
Flame maple veneer top — really pops, especially in this finish
24.5" scale — easy, slinky feel that suits this guitar perfectly
PRS SE 245 humbuckers — warm, punchy, and versatile stock pickup set
Bird inlays and singlecut shape — all the PRS identity is here
That damaged corner aside, the rest of the guitar is extremely clean
Overall feel — lively, comfortable, and hard to put down
