This 2022 PRS SE Custom 24 wears one of the most striking Fire Red Burst finishes I’ve personally seen on an SE. The flame is deep, lively, and dimensional, shifting from dark crimson at the edges to a glowing red center that looks even better in person than in photos. It’s the kind of top that makes you pick the guitar up before you even plug it in.
Condition-wise, this guitar is excellent overall. The only thing worth noting is a small finish blemish on the back near the neck heel (clearly pictured). It’s purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect playability or structural integrity in any way. Otherwise, the guitar is very clean, with no major dings, cracks, or issues.
Playability is where this one really shines. It recently received a professional setup, the neck is straight, the action is dialed in, and the intonation is spot-on across the board. It’s currently strung with brand-new 10s, so it feels fast, smooth, and responsive right out of the case.
Tonally, the Custom 24 does exactly what it’s known for — articulate cleans, punchy midrange, and plenty of bite and sustain when pushed. The 24-fret layout and comfortable PRS neck carve make it effortless whether you’re playing chords, lead lines, or anything in between.
