I’ve had a handful of S2s come through over the years, and every now and then one lands that really nails that perfect middle ground—raw, resonant, and just flat-out fun to play. This particular one leans hard into that.
This is a PRS S2 Singlecut Standard Satin in Charcoal, and it’s got a vibe that’s completely different from your typical glossed-up, polished PRS. The satin finish gives it that stripped-down, almost workhorse feel—letting the grain subtly show through and giving it a look that’s more organic and broken-in from the start.
