There’s something about a Lake Blue flame top under the light that just stops you mid-scroll.
This 2022–Present PRS S2 McCarty 594 is one of those guitars that doesn’t just look expensive — it feels expensive. The flame maple top has that deep, rolling shimmer that shifts from dark sapphire to electric blue depending on the angle. It’s not loud. It’s refined. Confident. The kind of top you appreciate more the longer you look at it.
Condition-wise, it’s excellent. All original and extremely clean. The only thing to note is a tiny scratch on the neck — purely cosmetic and hard to notice unless you’re really searching for it. Otherwise, this one presents like new.
Plug it in and you immediately understand why the 594 platform has such a following. The 58/15 “S” pickups deliver that articulate, vintage-inspired clarity with a slightly modern edge — warm and woody on the neck, punchy and defined on the bridge. Roll the volume back and it cleans up beautifully. Dig in and it responds. There’s depth in the mids, sparkle on top, and a low end that feels tight and controlled.
The Pattern Vintage neck carve fills the hand just right — substantial but never bulky. Combined with the 24.594” scale length and PRS’s impeccable fretwork, bends feel effortless and chords ring with piano-like clarity. The action is set super low right now and it plays incredibly clean up and down the board.
And then there’s the little things:
• Flame maple top with carved bevel
• Mahogany body
• 2-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners
• Coil splits for added versatility
• Classic PRS bird inlays
• Lake Blue finish that just pops
This one comes with the original PRS gig bag and case candy.
If you’ve been curious about the S2 McCarty 594 line, this is a perfect example of why they’ve become such a sweet spot in the PRS lineup — USA build quality, vintage soul, modern reliability.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
