PRS S2 Custom 24-08 with 2024 - Lake Blue

This 2024 PRS S2 Custom 24-08 in Lake Blue is just stunning in person. The flame top has this deep, almost liquid movement to it, and the way the blue shifts from lighter aqua tones into darker edges gives it a ton of dimension. It’s one of those finishes that keeps catching your eye from every angle. Even flipping it over, the transparent back lets the wood grain breathe through in a way that feels raw and intentional—PRS really nailed the aesthetic on this one.

In hand, it’s everything you expect from a Custom 24—fast, comfortable, and incredibly balanced. The neck is straight and the setup is dialed in with polished frets, fresh strings, and an oiled fretboard. Action is low and effortless without sacrificing clarity, so it plays clean no matter how you approach it. It’s the kind of guitar that makes you want to keep going just a little longer every time you pick it up.

Where this one really separates itself is in the versatility. The 24-08 switching system gives you a ton of tonal options on tap—thick and punchy humbucker tones, but also articulate, glassy split sounds that actually feel usable, not just “there.” You can cover a massive range without ever touching your amp, which makes it ridiculously fun to explore.
