This is a stunning 2019 PRS Custom 24 Wood Library in Yellow Tiger, built with an intensely figured quilted maple top, mahogany back, a highly figured satin-finished neck, dark fretboard with bird inlays, PRS tremolo, locking tuners, and hybrid gold and nickel hardware. The Custom 24 is the model that established PRS, and this Wood Library example takes that familiar platform in a much more distinctive direction.
The Yellow Tiger finish is incredible in person. Depending on the light, the top shifts between golden amber, burnt orange, tobacco brown, and almost black through the deepest portions of the quilt. The figuring is exceptionally active across the entire body, with tight curls, larger rolling quilt patterns, and dramatic areas that almost look three-dimensional. It is one of those tops that changes completely as the guitar moves.
The contrast between the gloss body and satin neck is one of the best parts of this build. The body retains the deep, glassy presentation that brings the quilt to life, while the unfinished-feeling satin neck stays smooth and fast in the hand. The neck itself has excellent flame running throughout, giving the back of the guitar nearly as much visual character as the front. The natural mahogany back, dark headstock veneer, hybrid hardware, and mother-of-pearl bird inlays bring the entire build together.
The current pickup combination pairs a covered neck humbucker with an uncovered bridge humbucker. The neck position has an open, warm response with plenty of clarity, while the bridge is more immediate, punchy, and articulate. Together, they give this guitar a great balance between vintage warmth and the sharper definition players often want from a Custom 24. The five-way blade provides several useful combinations beyond the standard full humbucker sounds.
I cannot confirm whether both pickups are original to the guitar, so I am listing the pickup originality as unknown. Everything functions properly, and the current combination sounds excellent.
The neck has a slim, fast feel, and the satin finish makes it especially comfortable during longer playing sessions. The action is low, the neck is straight, the frets are excellent, and the intonation is spot on. At only 7.7 pounds on my scale, it also feels noticeably light and well balanced for a full Core Custom 24.
This guitar is in excellent condition overall. The body, back, neck, frets, and hardware all present extremely well, with only a small, difficult-to-notice scuff on the front edge of the bass-side horn. It has been restrung with new strings and recently set up, and it plays exactly as a high-end PRS should. It includes the original black hardshell case, tremolo arm, paperwork, manuals, sticker, and complete original case candy.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
