This 2006 PRS Custom 22 10-Top in Emerald Green has an absolutely gorgeous quilted maple top, and it's now sporting some pretty interesting upgrades. I've actually owned this exact guitar before, and when the opportunity came to take it back in trade, it had returned with a new Seymour Duncan pickup set, updated switching, and a fresh hardshell case. The original pickups and removed hardware are included, too!
The quilt on this guitar is incredible. The figuring is deep and tightly packed, with these almost swirling patterns that shift across the top depending on how the light hits it. The Emerald Green finish really brings out that depth, and the natural maple binding gives the whole thing a nice contrast. It's a beautiful example of PRS's 10-Top grading, with classic bird inlays and a dark rosewood fretboard.
The electronics have been upgraded with Seymour Duncan Nazgûl and Sentient humbuckers, fitted with eye-catching multicolored Stargazer covers. The original five-way rotary selector has also been replaced with a much more straightforward three-way toggle and coil-splitting setup. I'm genuinely impressed with this pickup combination. It brings a different character to the Custom 22, and the updated controls make switching between sounds much more convenient. Everything functions correctly.
The way this guitar plays is probably my favorite part. It received a recent setup, and the action is wonderfully low and effortless. The frets are smooth as glass, and moving around the neck feels incredibly fluid, especially when sliding between positions. The neck measures 20.8 mm at the first fret and 22.4 mm at the 12th, with a comfortable, fairly slim feel. Intonation is spot on, and it's wearing fresh strings.
Condition is Very Good, with the neck, fretboard, frets, and back all presenting exceptionally well. There are some light finish scratches on the headstock and backside, along with typical PRS finish hazing around the recessed control areas and a few edges where polishing couldn't fully reach. No significant rash or heavy wear, and no breaks, repairs, or finish cracks.
It weighs 7.72 lbs on my scale and comes with a brand-new hardshell case. The original PRS pickups and removed electronics/hardware are included, along with the pictured case candy. Having those original components makes the upgrades especially appealing since you aren't losing the option of returning it to its previous configuration.
The photos shown are real photographs of this exact guitar. I do not use AI-generated imagery, replacement backgrounds, or image manipulation to misrepresent the condition of my guitars. What you see is the instrument you’ll receive.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured via Reverb Safe Shipping.
⏳ Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Not as described, or damaged in shipping? Full refund, including the shipping you paid, and I pay return shipping. “As described” means everything in the listing: photos, condition notes, specs and included accessories. Every guitar is insured for its full price. If it's damaged in transit, I handle the carrier claim, and you choose between a repair at my expense or a full refund.
Changed your mind? Return it in the condition it arrived, with everything it came with, for a flat $150 fee. The fee is the same whether the guitar was $900 or $9,000, not a percentage. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
