Questions about this guitar?

This is a 2010 PRS 25th Anniversary Custom 24 10-Top in Faded Whale Blue, and it is a seriously special example from PRS’s 25th year. The Custom 24 is the guitar that put PRS on the map, and the 25th Anniversary version adds the limited-year appointments that make these stand apart—anniversary bird inlays, the 25th Anniversary headstock detail, 57/08 pickups, PRS tremolo, and the matching limited edition 25th Anniversary hard case.

The finish on this one is the centerpiece. It is officially Faded Whale Blue, but in person it has taken on an incredible green/blue/gold character that almost gives it a Trampas-style look depending on the light. You can still see areas where the blue comes through, but the top has faded into this wild greenish, almost mossy flame that is absolutely stunning. The 10-Top flame is strong across the body, the color shift is beautiful, and the top itself is immaculate.

This one is loaded with the original PRS 57/08 pickups, which are one of the big reasons these 25th Anniversary Custom 24s are so desirable. They have that clear, musical, vintage-inspired PRS voice—warm and full in the neck, punchy and articulate in the bridge, and very responsive under the hands. The PRS rotary switching gives you the wide tonal range these guitars are known for, from full humbucker sounds to glassier split-style tones that cover a lot of ground without feeling thin.

The neck feels excellent, and this one plays exactly how a good Core PRS should. The setup is clean, the intonation is spot on, and it plays and bends like butter. The frets are excellent and feel nearly new, the fretboard is clean, and the PRS tremolo is smooth and stable. It has that effortless Custom 24 feel where fast lines, bends, and chord work all feel easy.

Condition is excellent overall. There are some light scratches and small superficial dings here and there, but nothing major, nothing structural, and nothing that affects playability. The body and neck are both excellent, the electronics test properly, the pickups are original, and the guitar sounds fantastic. The top presents beautifully and is easily the highlight of the guitar.

Includes the limited edition 25th Anniversary PRS hardshell case, paperwork, tremolo arm, PRS sticker, 25th Anniversary model booklet, and complete case candy.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!

Buying direct from me

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.

Returns

Not as described or damaged? Contact me within 3 days of delivery for a full refund including return shipping — no questions asked.

Changed your mind? Treat the first 3 days as your at-home inspection. Return it in the same condition and a flat $150 fee applies — the same whether the guitar was $900 or $9,000, not a percentage. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
