Some guitars are clean. Some are impressive. And then there are the rare ones that feel almost untouched — like they’ve been waiting their whole life to be played.

This 2019 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s Figured in Unburst is one of those guitars.

The moment the case opens, that figured maple top steals the room. The flame on this one is outstanding — deep, three-dimensional, and perfectly matched to the Unburst finish. The way the darker outer edge melts into that vibrant golden center makes the figuring move under light. It’s the kind of top you catch yourself tilting back and forth just to watch it shift.

Condition is, simply put, immaculate. It presents truly like new. No rash, no notable wear, no edge dings — nothing that suggests it saw real use. It genuinely feels like it may have been purchased and then left in the case. Even the original hard shell case is in new condition, and it comes complete with the full case candy.

This is the modern Standard done right. Solid mahogany body, carved figured maple top, non-weight-relieved construction for that full Les Paul resonance, and a Slim Taper ’60s neck carve that feels fast and refined without being thin. The neck on this particular guitar is exceptional. Smooth, buttery, and incredibly comfortable — the kind of profile that disappears in your hand.

And then there’s the setup.

Without exaggeration, this is the best-playing Standard currently in the collection. Go check my other listings and you won’t find this claim! The action is perfectly dialed in, the frets feel effortless, and everything responds with a level of precision that’s hard to describe. Whether it was PLEK’d from the factory or simply benefited from an ideal neck and fret combination, it plays at an elite level. It’s the kind of instrument that makes you second-guess even changing the strings because everything feels so perfectly balanced as it sits.

Tonally, the Burstbucker 61R and 61T pickups deliver exactly what a ’60s Standard should — deep, warm, articulate, and harmonically rich. The neck pickup is thick and smooth without being muddy. The bridge has bite and clarity while still retaining warmth. Roll the volume back and it cleans up beautifully; push it and it roars with authority. It’s classic Les Paul tone with modern consistency.

This isn’t just a beautiful figured Standard — it’s one of those rare examples where the look, feel, and sound all align at a very high level.

Weight: 9.5 pounds on my scale

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note

These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–6 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
