There’s something about a clean white semi-hollow that just feels timeless. The D’Angelico Premier DC already carries that unmistakable Art Deco elegance in its lines and headstock design, but in white, it becomes something else entirely—refined, bold, and effortlessly classy.
This Premier DC is in like-new, collector-kept condition. It was purchased to be preserved, and it shows. The finish is exceptionally clean, hardware is bright, and the overall presentation is about as close to new as it gets. It includes the original factory D’Angelico soft case.
Tonally, this is where the Premier DC really shines. The laminated maple semi-hollow body paired with a full-sized center block gives it the best of both worlds—huge natural resonance and acoustic bloom, but with the sustain and feedback resistance you want when plugged in. Even unplugged, it’s lively and inspiring. There’s a real depth to the voice—deep, punchy lows, articulate mids, and a smooth top end that never feels harsh.
The set maple neck with a comfortable C profile and 24.75” scale length gives it that familiar slinky feel under the fingers—bends are easy, chords feel rich, and the 14” radius makes for a fast, modern playing experience without sacrificing comfort. Fretwork is clean, action is dialed, and it plays effortlessly up and down the board.
Electronics are classic and versatile: dual humbuckers with independent volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle. It covers warm, rounded jazz tones, thick blues, and punchy rock without missing a beat. The stop-bar tailpiece and tune-o-matic style bridge keep it tight and focused, while the center block helps maintain clarity and sustain under gain.
Other thoughtful touches include the Graph Tech NuBone XL nut for tuning stability and smooth string travel, solid sealed tuners, and D’Angelico’s distinctive aesthetic details that set it apart from the sea of ES-style guitars out there. It delivers the semi-hollow experience with a modern reliability factor that makes it incredibly usable.
This is one of those guitars that feels more expensive than it is. The resonance, the look, the playability—it all comes together in a way that makes it hard to put down. And in white, it’s simply stunning.
