Some guitars are great. Others quietly ruin your expectations for everything else.
This John Page Classic Ashburn falls squarely in the second category.
If you know the name John Page, you already understand what this is. As the co-founder of the Fender Custom Shop, John Page spent decades refining what makes a Strat-style guitar actually feel right. The Ashburn is his personal take on the ultimate modern classic — familiar in all the best ways, but refined everywhere it matters.
This is, without exaggeration, the nicest playing Strat-style guitar I’ve ever owned. The neck is exceptional — perfectly shaped, smooth, and immediately comfortable, with that “broken-in but precise” feel that usually only comes from high-end custom builds. The fretwork is immaculate, and the guitar plays effortlessly all the way up the neck.
Tonally, the Bloodline pickups are a standout. They’re incredibly clean, articulate, and balanced — classic single-coil sparkle without harshness, with clarity that stays intact whether you’re playing lightly or digging in. Chime, snap, and definition are all there, but with a refinement that separates this from mass-produced Strat-style instruments.
The Inca Silver finish is timeless and classy, and this example is as close to new as it gets — still has the protective plastic on the pickguard. No wear, no excuses, no stories. It looks like it just came out of the case for the first time.

This is one of those guitars you don’t need to sell — and that’s exactly why it’s special. If you’re after a Strat-style instrument that feels more refined, more intentional, and more inspiring than the usual options, this one delivers in a big way.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
