This Gibson Slash Collection Les Paul Standard in Appetite Burst is one of those guitars that immediately makes sense the moment you pick it up. It has that unmistakable Slash vibe — thick, articulate, and aggressive — but with a balance and responsiveness that makes it incredibly fun to actually play, not just admire.

Condition-wise, it’s excellent. The finish is clean and glossy throughout, with the only thing worth mentioning being very light indentation along the headstock edges from hanging — purely cosmetic and easy to miss unless you’re actively looking for it. Otherwise, this guitar presents beautifully and feels extremely well cared for.

One of the standout traits on this particular example is the weight. At just 8 pounds 4 ounces on my scale, it’s noticeably lighter than most Les Paul Standards, making long sessions far more comfortable while still retaining that classic Les Paul sustain and punch. It absolutely shreds — tight lows, singing mids, and that unmistakable Slash roar when you dig in.
