This is a 2020 Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard in Appetite Burst, one of the standout models from the Gibson Slash Collection. Built around the classic Les Paul recipe of a non-weight-relieved mahogany body, AAA figured maple top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard, it delivers the full, sustaining feel and sound that players expect from a proper USA Les Paul.

The Appetite Burst finish is unreal in person. The AAA flame top has a deep, tightly figured look with a rich amber-to-golden burst that really moves in the light. It is paired with cream binding, zebra pickups, amber control knobs, and a custom pearl amber pickguard that fits the finish perfectly. The result is unmistakably Slash-inspired without feeling overdone.

This model features Gibson Custom Burstbucker Alnico II pickups, specifically voiced for the Slash Collection. They have a warm but punchy output with great sustain, rich mids, and enough clarity to stay clean and articulate when you roll the volume back. The guitar uses a traditional two-volume, two-tone control layout with 50s-style hand-wired electronics and Orange Drop capacitors, so it responds really well to changes in your picking attack and volume settings.

The 50s Vintage neck profile has a substantial, comfortable feel without being cumbersome. It feels fast in the hand, holds a tune well, and gives the guitar that familiar Les Paul stability for bends, vibrato, and heavier rock playing. The action is comfortable, intonation is spot on, and the frets are excellent.

This particular Slash Les Paul is in very good condition overall. There are some light marks and handling wear here and there, but nothing through the finish, structural, or distracting in normal use. I could call it excellent, but I am listing it conservatively to meet expectations. The neck is excellent, the frets are excellent, all electronics test properly, and it plays and sounds amazing.

It includes the original Gibson Slash Collection hardshell case, original paperwork, inspection card, Gibson strap, polishing cloth, picks, and complete original case candy.

I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
