Some SGs look good in photos… and then some hit you in person and just feel different. This Blueberry Fade Modern is one of those—the kind that makes you stop for a second when the light catches it just right.
The finish is the first thing that grabs you. It’s got that deep, shifting blue with darker edges that almost lean into a subtle purple depending on the angle. Not overly flashy, but definitely not your average SG either. There’s a ton of depth in the top, and it gives the guitar a more refined, almost custom-shop vibe compared to the typical finishes you see.
Condition-wise, this one’s been kept really clean. There are some light surface scratches on the back—nothing through the finish, just honest playwear you’d expect under normal use. The top presents beautifully, and overall it’s a very well-kept piece. Frets are like new with tons of life, and it’s been set up to play effortlessly.
In hand, it feels exactly how a great SG should—light, fast, and super responsive. The neck has that smooth, broken-in feel without being worn down, and it just invites you to keep playing. It’s one of those guitars where you don’t have to fight anything—it just works.
Tone-wise, this one delivers. It’s got that classic SG punch and clarity, but with a bit more versatility thanks to the Modern platform. Tight low end, articulate highs, and a really nice midrange bite when you dig in. It cleans up well, but it absolutely comes alive when you push it.
It’s equipped with Grover tuners that feel solid and hold tuning great. It comes with a really nice hard shell case—not the original, but honestly a solid upgrade in terms of protection and feel.
