I’ve handled quite a few Les Pauls over the years, and this particular Traditional Pro II ‘60s stands out immediately. It hits that sweet spot where you get the unmistakable Les Paul feel and tone, but with just enough modern touches to make it a killer player’s guitar.
The first thing that grabs you is the top. This one has a seriously lively flame—tight, rippling figure that moves as the light hits it, framed by a rich Vintage Sunburst that leans darker around the edges. It’s not over-the-top flashy—it’s that perfect, tasteful kind of figured top that just looks right every time you pick it up.
This model carries a comfortable ‘60s neck profile—slim, fast, and easy to get around without losing that solid Les Paul feel. Under the hood, you’ve got the 490R in the neck and 498T in the bridge, which is a great combo. The neck is warm and smooth without getting muddy, while the bridge has that aggressive midrange bite and output that really pushes an amp when you dig in. It’s a versatile set that covers everything from clean blues to heavier rock without feeling limited.
Condition is excellent. There are just a few light signs of wear, mostly around the back, but nothing that detracts from the overall look. The frets are in like-new condition, which really speaks to how well this one’s been kept. Hardware is clean, and it’s equipped with locking tuners and strap lock buttons—small upgrades that make a big difference in real-world use.
It’s been freshly set up with new strings, the fretboard has been oiled, and the intonation is dialed in right where it should be. It plays effortlessly up and down the neck.
What stood out to me:
- Beautifully figured flame top with a rich Vintage Sunburst
- Comfortable and fast ‘60s neck profile
- 490R / 498T pickup set with great balance and punch
- Frets in like-new condition
- Locking tuners + strap lock buttons
- Clean overall with only light wear on the sides
- Fresh setup with spot-on intonation
- Includes original hard shell case
This is one of those Les Pauls that just feels right the second you pick it up—solid, responsive, and alive. The kind of guitar that doesn’t fight you, it just lets you play.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
