Some tops just hit differently, and this one does that immediately. The Vintage Sunburst finish has that classic, slow fade from warm amber into a rich tobacco edge—balanced, timeless, and unmistakably Gibson. Every time this guitar comes out of the case, it gets a reaction. The flame isn’t loud or over-the-top; it’s tight, refined figuring that catches the light in a way you don’t fully appreciate until you see it in person.
Condition-wise, it’s in very good shape. This guitar has been played, not abused—expect a few minor bumps, light scratches, and small marks throughout, all cosmetic and well within what you’d expect from a well-cared-for instrument of this era. Nothing structural, nothing that affects playability. The frets have been polished, the fingerboard conditioned, and it’s just been professionally set up, so it feels dialed in the moment you pick it up.
Weight: 9 lbs 2 oz
The ’60s Slim Taper neck is fast, comfortable, and exactly what you want on a Traditional Pro II—easy up high, familiar down low, and great for long sessions without fatigue.
Under the hood, this guitar has been upgraded with a Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and ’59 (neck) pickup set, a classic pairing for a reason. The JB delivers punchy mids, strong output, and singing sustain that’s perfect for rock and heavier styles, while the ’59 in the neck brings clarity, warmth, and smooth articulation for cleans and lead work. Together, they give this Les Paul a bold, expressive voice that feels alive and responsive—arguably an upgrade over the stock setup and a huge part of why this one stands out.
It comes with the original hardshell case, clean and solid, ready for the next run of shows, studio time, or a well-earned spot in a collection.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play.
