This 2018 Gibson Les Paul Traditional is one of those guitars that reminds you why the Traditional name still matters. From the first glance, the Tobacco Sunburst has that deep, warm perimeter fade that only works when the top grain cooperates—and this one absolutely does. It looks rich, classic, and unmistakably Gibson.
Condition-wise, it’s excellent overall. There are some light finish scratches here and there, consistent with careful, real-world use—but nothing distracting or structural. The top presents beautifully, the gloss is still deep, and the guitar has clearly been well cared for.
Playability is where this one really shines. It’s been professionally set up with brand new nickel-plated .010s, the frets have been polished, the neck is straight, and the action is dialed in perfectly—low, smooth, and buzz-free. It plays effortlessly up and down the neck and sounds exactly like a great Les Paul should: full, articulate, and punchy with tons of sustain.
It comes complete with the original hardshell case and case candy, rounding out a very clean, honest example of a modern Traditional that still feels rooted in Gibson’s golden-era formula.
