Some Les Pauls just have that look—the kind that makes you pause before you even touch a string. This 2011 Guitar Center–exclusive Traditional is absolutely one of them. The Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish glows with a sharp, almost vintage-poster vibrancy, and the maple top underneath it has that classic, clean flame that catches the light in the best possible way. It’s a guitar that feels proud to be a Les Paul.
This one has clearly been loved and not abused. The top is in beautiful shape—smooth, glossy, and every bit as striking in person as it looks in the photos. Around the back edges, you’ll see some bumps, scrapes, and honest marks from life—nothing structural, nothing ugly, just the normal evidence of a guitar that’s actually been enjoyed. I photographed everything up close so you know exactly what you’re getting. Nothing hidden. Nothing to guess about. Recently received a professional setup.
Once you strap it on, the guitar really tells you why the Traditional line hits so hard. The neck has that perfect, comfortable carve—substantial but never slow—and the guitar resonates in that unmistakable way only a solid, non-chambered Traditional can. There’s warmth, there’s bite, and there’s sustain that rings out longer than you expect every time.
The upgrades here are thoughtful: locking tuners for stability, and a custom truss rod cover to give it a touch of personality. It’s the kind of setup you’d do if you actually played the guitar rather than just collecting it.
It comes with the original Gibson hardshell case. The case has seen better days—it’s worn, scuffed, and shows its age—but it still protects the guitar properly and carries the Gibson logo proudly. A relic in its own right.
This is one of those Traditionals that reminds you why people chase this era. It’s vibrant, inspiring, and just flat-out fun to play. Plug it in and you’ll know exactly why it stuck around for so many years.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured
