I’ve had a handful of Supremes come through, and this particular one is exactly why people chase them—there’s just a different level of refinement here that you feel the second you pick it up.
Finished in Ebony with gold hardware, it leans into that clean, high-end look that the Supreme line does so well. The gloss black is deep and mirror-like, and against the gold it has that understated but undeniably premium presence. This one is about as clean as they come—like new, with little to no signs of play. No chips, no dings, no notable wear, and even the hardware still has that fresh look.
What really separates the modern Supreme from a typical Les Paul Standard is how it’s built and how it responds in your hands.
You’ve got a carved maple top over a chambered mahogany body, which gives it a more resonant, lively feel without losing that Les Paul weight and authority. It’s slightly lighter, more balanced, and you can feel it vibrate when you play—it’s one of those guitars that feels “awake.”
The ebony fretboard is a big part of the experience too. It’s smooth, fast, and adds a bit of snap and clarity to the attack that you don’t always get with rosewood. Combined with the excellent fretwork on these, it plays effortlessly up and down the neck.
And then there’s the pickup layout—this is where it really becomes something special.
The 3-pickup configuration opens up a tonal range you just don’t get on a standard 2-humbucker Les Paul. You still have your classic neck and bridge tones, but the middle pickup adds:
- More complex, layered rhythm sounds
- Unique in-between tones that cut through a mix
- A surprising amount of versatility depending on how you blend positions
It’s not just different—it’s genuinely useful, and honestly a lot of fun to explore. This is one of those guitars where you keep finding new sounds without even trying.
What stood out to me:
- The 3-pickup setup gives it a huge, usable tonal range
- Chambered body makes it feel more resonant and alive
- Ebony fretboard feels fast, smooth, and adds clarity
- The Ebony + gold aesthetic is clean, modern, and premium
- Condition is about as close to new as you’ll find
It comes with the original Gibson hard shell case and case candy.
I’ll be honest—this is one I didn’t really want to list. I kept reaching for it more than expected. But I’ve got one too many Supremes at the moment, and this one’s just too clean to let sit.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
