Very Good Condition
One of a kind — when it's gone, it's gone.

This 2013 Gibson Les Paul Studio Satin in Worn Brown has the kind of stripped-down, raw Les Paul personality that makes these Studios so cool. No flashy binding, no overdone appointments — just a carved maple-top Les Paul with a mahogany body, set neck, rosewood board, and that punchy Gibson humbucker sound wrapped in a worn satin finish that lets the wood character show through.

The Worn Brown finish looks fantastic on this one. It has that dark, smoky, open-grain look that gives it a more aggressive, almost boutique feel compared to a gloss Studio. The black hardware accents really work here too — the custom black pickup covers have an EMG-style look, and the black tuner buttons tie everything together against the brown satin finish. It gives the guitar a darker, meaner presence without losing the classic Les Paul shape and feel.

Condition is very good overall. There are some scuffs, scrapes, and small marks here and there, which is pretty typical for this satin/worn style finish, but there are no breaks, cracks, or serious damage. The neck is in excellent shape, the frets are excellent, and the guitar presents really well with the kind of honest wear that fits this model rather than taking away from it.

Playability is a big highlight. It has a recent setup, brand new 10s, polished frets, and an oiled fretboard. The action feels good, the intonation is spot on, and there’s no bad buzz. It plays clean, fast, and comfortable, with a punchy voice that feels right at home for rock, heavier blues, hard rock, and anything that needs that focused Les Paul midrange.

The pickups appear to be the original Gibson 490/498-style set, with the cosmetic change being the custom black pickup covers. They deliver that familiar Studio punch — warm and thick in the neck, tighter and more aggressive in the bridge, with plenty of output without feeling overly compressed.

This is a great player’s Les Paul — lightweight in attitude, simple in the best way, and built around the stuff that actually matters: feel, tone, sustain, and reliability. It has enough cosmetic character to feel broken-in, but it’s still very clean where it counts and ready to be played right away.
