This 2015 Gibson Les Paul Studio “100” in Wine Red has that deep, almost liquid flame to the top that shifts depending on the light. It’s not something you always see on Studios, and it gives this guitar a much more premium, almost Standard-like presence without losing that raw, workhorse character the Studio line is known for.

The gold hardware against that rich red finish just works—especially paired with the matte chrome-covered Burstbuckers. It’s a subtle contrast, but it gives the whole guitar a really refined look without feeling overdone.

In hand, it’s everything you want from a modern Les Paul. The SlimTaper neck is quick and effortless, and combined with the Ultra-Modern weight relief, it sits right at that sweet spot where it still feels substantial but never weighs you down. This one comes in feeling lively and resonant, and that brass nut really does its thing—you get that extra bit of snap and sustain that makes notes hang on just a little longer.

Plugged in, it’s got range. The Burstbucker Pros deliver that classic PAF-inspired punch, but with a bit more edge and clarity. Roll the push-pull pots and you’ve got convincing single-coil tones that actually feel usable—not just a gimmick. It’s the kind of guitar that can cover a lot of ground without ever feeling like it’s trying too hard.

Condition-wise, this one’s been kept extremely well. It’s clean across the board with little to no real signs of wear—no major dings, no issues—just a very well-preserved example that’s clearly been respected. The neck is straight, frets are in excellent shape, and the setup is dialed with a smooth, low action that makes it hard to put down.

What stood out to me:

  • The flame top—it’s way more figured than most Studios and gives it a higher-end feel
  • Lightweight but still resonant—great balance thanks to the weight relief
  • The brass nut + setup combo—notes ring out effortlessly with great sustain
  • The overall cleanliness—this is about as close to “excellent” as it gets for a played guitar

It comes complete with the original Gibson “100” anniversary case and case candy, and notably—no robo tuners here. You’ve got the classic vintage-style waffle tuners, which most players strongly prefer.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
