Some guitars look good in photos. Some look good in person. And then there are the rare ones that genuinely stop you mid-scroll.

This 2017 Gibson Les Paul Standard T in Blueberry Burst is one of those guitars.

The top on this one is absolutely insane. The flame is bold, wide, and three-dimensional — shifting from deep violet edges into that electric blue center depending on the light. It has that dramatic, high-contrast look that makes Blueberry Burst so addictive, and this is easily one of the stronger tops I’ve seen from this era.

Condition is excellent, bordering on like new. It was clearly very well taken care of and appears to have minimal play time. The only thing worth noting is a few super light indentations on the bottom back side (pictured). They’re subtle and purely cosmetic. The rest of the guitar presents beautifully.

It’s currently wearing aftermarket matching blue knobs that complement the burst perfectly, but the original knobs are included in the case.

This 2017 Standard T came from Gibson’s transitional period where they were really loading these up with premium features:

– AA figured maple top over a mahogany body

– Mahogany neck with SlimTaper profile

– Rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays

– Burstbucker Pro pickups

– Push/pull coil splitting for expanded tonal options

– Aluminum Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar

– Locking Grover tuners

And here’s the kicker — it weighs just 7.2 lbs on my scale. For a Les Paul Standard, that is exceptional. It feels lively and resonant in your hands without the usual shoulder fatigue. Lightweight, balanced, and very responsive.

The Burstbucker Pros give it a slightly hotter, modern edge while still retaining that classic Les Paul midrange punch. Clean tones have clarity and snap, and when pushed, it has that tight low end and focused upper mid bite that cuts beautifully. The SlimTaper neck is fast and comfortable without feeling thin, and this one is set up extremely well. Low action, smooth bends, great intonation — it genuinely plays like butter.

This is one of those rare trade-ins that didn’t need anything. No fret work, no setup tweaks — just tuned it and played. Always a good sign.

Comes with the original Gibson hard shell case, all case candy, and the baby photo.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
