This is a 2023 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s in Blueberry Burst, and this one has a couple things going for it that separate it from the usual Standard. The top is excellent, but what surprised me most is actually the neck—there is a flame running through the maple-like figuring that becomes very obvious when direct light hits the finish. I genuinely can’t remember another regular-production Les Paul Standard I’ve had with a neck that figured.
The Blueberry Burst is also a particularly good one. The center has that bright blue/aqua look, while the outer edge transitions through a much deeper blue into purple. There is plenty of movement in the maple top, especially through the upper half and around the edges, and it looks considerably different depending on the angle and lighting. The cream plastics and amber knobs work really well against it.
The original pickups sound exactly the way I want a ’60s Standard to sound—clear and punchy with plenty of definition, but still thick enough when you lean into it. The bridge has a nice bite without getting harsh, and the neck stays articulate rather than turning muddy. Electronics passed inspection with no issues.
Playability is excellent. It still has a very factory-feeling setup with medium action, a straight neck and frets that feel extremely smooth under the fingers. Intonation is spot on, fret condition is excellent, and I didn’t find anything during inspection that made me want to start changing the setup.
Condition is excellent overall. There are a few extremely light superficial marks if you go looking for them under direct light, but nothing that really jumps out during normal handling. The top presents beautifully, the back and neck are equally clean, and at 9.3 lbs on my scale it has the substantial Les Paul feel without being unusually heavy.
It includes the original Gibson hardshell case along with the complete original case candy.

- Spot-on intonation

- Original Gibson hardshell case
- Complete original case candy
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
