Some guitars don’t need hype — they just need to be seen and played. This Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s in Heritage Cherry Sunburst is exactly that kind of instrument.
The top is the star here. The burst is rich and vibrant, with that unmistakable Gibson depth that shifts beautifully under light. It’s one of those finishes you keep catching yourself staring at, and it absolutely delivers that classic Les Paul presence everyone’s chasing.
Condition-wise, it lands comfortably in the very good to excellent range. There are a few light clearcoat scratches and small spots here and there, along with some scratches on the sides and back (pictured). Nothing structural, nothing distracting — just honest signs of careful ownership. The top, in particular, is beautiful and clean, and overall the guitar presents extremely well.
Playability is exactly where you want it to be. The frets are in excellent shape, the neck is straight, and it’s received a proper setup, so it feels solid, comfortable, and immediately familiar the moment you pick it up. This is a true ’50s-style Les Paul feel — substantial without being unwieldy, and inspiring in the hands.
It comes complete with the original Gibson hardshell case and case candy, rounding out a package that’s both player-ready and collector-friendly.
If you’re after a Les Paul that captures the heart of the Standard ’50s lineup — classic looks, great condition, and no nonsense — this one absolutely delivers.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
