This 2020 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s Gold Top is an absolute classic, both in look and sound. With its stunning gold top finish, this guitar is a true head-turner that embodies everything players love about vintage Les Pauls. It’s in excellent condition and plays like a dream thanks to a recent professional setup and a fresh set of strings.

The ’50s neck profile feels incredibly comfortable, and the Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups deliver everything from rich, creamy cleans to that iconic Les Paul growl. Whether you’re chasing warm bluesy tones or classic rock crunch, this guitar has you covered. Weighing in at 8 pounds 14 ounces

There are some minor scuffs (shown in the photos) that are barely noticeable, but they add a bit of character to an already legendary instrument. Overall, it’s in fantastic shape and has clearly been well-cared for.

It also comes with the original Gibson hard case and all the case candy, making this a complete package for players and collectors alike. If you’re looking for a Gold Top that plays, looks, and sounds amazing, this one’s ready to go.

Buying direct from me

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.

Shipping & Insurance

Ships within 1 business day via UPS or FedEx Ground — typically 3-5 business days in transit. Every guitar is fully insured for its full purchase price, with signature required on delivery. Packed properly — hard cases shipped in a double box with foam padding, strings detuned, neck and headstock supported.

Flat $75 shipping anywhere in the US, no matter the price of the guitar. Full details in the shipping policy.

Returns

3 days from delivery to decide. That's your window to let me know, not to get it back to me. Play it, check it against the listing, and message me if anything's off.

Not as described, or damaged in shipping? Full refund, including the shipping you paid, and I pay return shipping. “As described” means everything in the listing: photos, condition notes, specs and included accessories. Every guitar is insured for its full price. If it's damaged in transit, I handle the carrier claim, and you choose between a repair at my expense or a full refund.

Changed your mind? Return it in the condition it arrived, with everything it came with, for a flat $150 fee. The fee is the same whether the guitar was $900 or $9,000, not a percentage. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Start any return through the return policy page or contact me directly before shipping anything back.
