This 2018 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Seafoam Green is one of those guitars that immediately feels special before you even plug it in. Between the rare finish, the incredible flame in the top, and the modern switching options, this one has a lot more going on than a typical Les Paul Standard.
The first thing that jumps out is the finish. Seafoam Green is not something you see every day on a Gibson Les Paul Standard, and paired with this level of figuring, it gives the guitar a really unique personality. The flame across the top is seriously impressive — wide, bold, and highly dimensional, with that striped movement that shifts beautifully under light. It has a boutique custom-order look while still keeping the classic Les Paul silhouette and feel.
This is also a very versatile Les Paul. The push/pull electronics give you coil-splitting options, making it much easier to move between thick humbucker tones and brighter, more open single-coil-style sounds. It still has the punch, sustain, and authority you expect from a Les Paul, but with a wider tonal range than a traditional two-humbucker setup. For players who want one guitar that can handle a lot of ground, this one makes a strong case for itself.
Playability is excellent. It has a recent setup, extremely low action with no buzzing, spot-on intonation, and frets that feel buttery under the fingers. The neck feels fast, comfortable, and very easy to settle into. It is the kind of guitar that makes lead work feel effortless while still having enough substance for rhythm playing and big chords.
This one also has upgraded Grover locking tuners, which are a great practical improvement for tuning stability and string changes. It still has the Les Paul character and feel, but with a little extra reliability and convenience.
Condition is excellent overall with very little signs of use. There are no major dings, scratches, or chips. It is stamped “DEMO” on the back of the headstock, but cosmetically it presents extremely clean and has clearly been well cared for. The guitar weighs 8.82 lbs on my scale, which is a very comfortable weight for a Les Paul Standard.
Included with the guitar is the original Gibson hard shell case and inspection sheet shown.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window.
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
