I’ve handled quite a few Les Pauls over the years, and every once in a while one comes through that just hits that perfect balance of visual firepower and playability—and this particular one absolutely delivers.

The first thing that grabs you is that top. It’s an epic flame—tight, consistent, and full of movement across the entire body. Then you notice the finish… this isn’t your standard Honeyburst. This is the perimeter candy version, and in person it has this subtle sparkle and depth that photos only hint at. Under light, it almost shimmers at the edges, giving the whole guitar a little extra life without going over the top. It’s one of those finishes you keep turning in your hands just to watch it shift.

In hand, it feels exactly like a Les Paul should—but refined. The recent light fret level and crown really brought this one to life. Everything feels smooth and effortless up and down the neck—no dead spots, no unevenness, just clean, buttery playability that makes bending and vibrato feel easy.

Tone-wise, it’s got that unmistakable Les Paul voice—full, warm, and punchy—but with clarity that holds together even when you dig in. It’s the kind of guitar that can go from smooth and expressive to aggressive and cutting without fighting you.

Being a 2015 model, it carries some of Gibson’s more unique features from that era. The brass nut adds a bit of brightness and sustain, and it comes with the original specialty hard case that really sets these apart. It’s also currently fitted with Grover locking tuners for added stability and ease of string changes, but the original robo tuners are included in the case if you ever want to return it to full factory spec.

Condition is excellent overall. The top and front present beautifully, and the only real signs of use are some light wear on the back of the body—nothing that affects playability, just honest signs that it’s been enjoyed.

What stood out to me:

  • Seriously striking flame top with tons of depth and character
  • Rare perimeter candy Honeyburst finish with subtle metallic sparkle
  • Fresh fret level and crown—super smooth, dialed-in feel across the board
  • Classic Les Paul tone with great clarity and response
  • 2015 features including brass nut and upgraded specialty case
  • Grover locking tuners installed (original robo tuners included)

Comes with the original hardshell case, paperwork, and factory robo tuners.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
