This 2023–2024 Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured is absolutely stunning. The cobalt burst finish is deep and dimensional, shifting from vibrant electric blue to darker edges that frame some truly top-tier flame figuring. The maple top on this one is exceptional — tight, rippling flame that moves as you turn it under the light. It’s the kind of top you stop and stare at.
Condition is excellent. It has been professionally pulled and dialed in, so it plays effortlessly right out of the case. There’s one light mark on the bottom right area of the body, but otherwise it shows only very minimal wear. Extremely clean overall.
What makes the Modern special is how Gibson refined the platform without losing its soul.
It’s noticeably lighter than many traditional Les Pauls thanks to the modern weight relief — you still get sustain and punch, but without the shoulder fatigue. The asymmetrical SlimTaper neck feels fast and comfortable, especially higher up the board, and the compound radius makes bending feel smooth and controlled. The contoured heel and belly cut are subtle but make upper fret access far more natural than a traditional carve.
Tonally, it’s versatile. The Burstbucker Pro pickups deliver classic Les Paul punch and clarity, but with push/pull controls you unlock coil splits, phase options, and pure bypass — giving you everything from thick, singing leads to articulate, almost single-coil sparkle. It covers way more ground than a traditional LP without sacrificing that core voice.
The resonance on this one is immediate. You feel it in your hands. Notes bloom, sustain hangs, and chords have that layered harmonic content that makes you want to just keep playing.
It comes complete with the original hardshell case and all the case candy — manual, checklist, Gibson app materials — everything you’d expect.
