This 2015 Gibson Les Paul Less Plus in Heritage Cherry Sunburst is one of those guitars that quietly changes your opinion about what a Les Paul can be.
At first glance, it’s classic Gibson — that rich cherry burst fading into a glowing amber center, flame peeking through the maple top, cream binding framing everything just right. It has all the visual authority of a traditional Les Paul. But the moment you pick it up, you realize this one’s different.
The Less Plus design trims down the body and weight without sacrificing the tone or sustain. It feels slimmer, more comfortable, and more balanced against your body. It’s incredibly easy to grab for a quick session — and that’s coming from someone who has owned hundreds of Les Pauls over the years. This is honestly the first one I find myself picking up casually just to noodle because it’s that comfortable and responsive.
It still sustains like a proper Les Paul should. Notes bloom, chords ring, and it has that unmistakable Gibson thickness and clarity. It’s properly set up with great action and dialed-in intonation, so it plays effortlessly up and down the neck.
This is also the 120th Anniversary edition, featuring the limited 12th fret inlay — a cool detail that marks Gibson’s commemorative 2015 run and gives it a bit of added character.
Condition-wise, it’s in excellent shape. There are just a few light finish dings here and there, nothing structural and nothing that detracts from how well this guitar presents. It’s clearly been well cared for and respected.
It originally came with the 2015 G-Force auto tuning system. The previous owner had it professionally swapped to traditional Gibson vintage-style tuners (no modifications were required for the swap), and it looks and feels exactly how a Les Paul should at the headstock. The full G-Force system is included in the case along with everything needed to reinstall it, so you have both options.
It comes with the factory special edition Gibson hard shell case and all the case candy
I’ll be honest — I actually have plans to keep this one. I genuinely don’t mind if it doesn’t sell at this price. It’s that good. If it stays, I won’t be disappointed. But if someone else has been looking for a comfortable, lighter Les Paul that still delivers the full experience, this one checks all the boxes.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
