There’s something raw about the 2013 Gibson Les Paul Future Tribute.

No gloss. No overbuilt flash. Just wood, tone, and forward-thinking Gibson engineering from one of their most experimental eras.

This 2013 Gibson Les Paul Future Tribute in Vintage Sunburst keeps the classic Les Paul silhouette but strips it back with a satin nitro finish that lets the wood breathe and resonate. The Vintage Sunburst on this one looks killer — warm amber center fading into a dark, smoky edge. Under light, the grain pops in a really organic way. It doesn’t look dipped in plastic. It looks alive.

And finding one in this condition is rare.

These satin finishes usually show wear quickly — glossy rub spots, edge burnishing, dings. This one is in excellent condition, which is honestly uncommon for this model. No major dents, no heavy rash, no abuse. Just light, honest signs of careful handling.

This guitar is all original and still equipped with the factory Gibson Min-ETune robot tuning system. Love it or hate it, it was Gibson’s big innovation push during this era — and when it’s dialed in, it’s incredibly convenient. Standard tuning, alternate tunings, quick stage adjustments — all at the push of a button. The system is clean, intact, and fully functional.

Under the hood, this model is more traditional than people realize:

  • Mahogany body
  • Maple top
  • Mahogany neck
  • Rosewood fretboard
  • Slim 60s-style neck profile
  • 22 frets
  • 24.75” scale length
  • 490R (neck) and 498T (bridge) humbuckers

That pickup pairing is classic Gibson modern rock territory. The 490R gives you warm, articulate cleans with that smooth midrange bloom. The 498T bridge brings punch, bite, and strong upper-mid presence without getting harsh. This guitar sounds alive — punchy, clear, and responsive. It cuts through a mix but still has the thick Les Paul backbone.

The satin nitro finish also gives it a slightly more immediate, open feel compared to thicker gloss finishes. It resonates well and feels broken-in without actually being worn out.

It comes with all the original paperwork, documentation, and the Min-ETune charger as shown — which is huge for collectability on these. Most of the time, the paperwork and accessories disappear.

This is a really cool snapshot of Gibson history — classic Les Paul DNA with early-2010s forward-thinking tech. Whether you keep the Min-ETune system or ever decide to convert it down the road, you’re starting with a very clean, very original example.

And again — the condition is what makes this one stand out.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
