This is one of those ES-335s that immediately stops you when you open the case.
This 2024 Gibson ES-335 Block in Figured Sixties Cherry is essentially brand new — practically unplayed and in superb condition throughout. The figured maple top on this one is absolutely stunning in person, with deep, lively figuring that shifts beautifully under the light. Gibson really nailed the finish here: rich, vibrant, and classic without being overdone.
Condition-wise, it’s as close to showroom as you’ll find. The pickguard still has the protective plastic on it, the hardware is spotless, and there’s not a mark worth calling out. The original Gibson hardshell case is also in excellent shape and includes all the proper OHSC and case candy.
This guitar has been professionally set up, and it shows. The action is smooth and comfortable, intonation is spot-on, and it plays effortlessly up and down the neck. Sonically, it delivers exactly what you want from a great 335 — warm, articulate lows, rich mids, and clear, singing highs with plenty of dynamic response. Whether you’re playing clean, edge-of-breakup, or pushing it harder, it feels alive and inspiring.
This is a fantastic example of a modern ES-335 that blends vintage vibe with modern consistency — and examples this clean with a top this good don’t come around often.
