This 2016 MIM Telecaster is from what many consider the golden era of Mexican Fenders—before the big changes and budget cuts started creeping into the newer models. These Teles have a reputation for being rock solid, and this one lives up to it.

The candy apple red finish really pops in person and is in near-perfect condition aside from one small chip on the edge—nothing major, just honest wear. Otherwise, it’s super clean.

It has been recently setup and it plays exactly like a good Tele should—bright and snappy with plenty of bite, but still warm enough to roll off when you need to. The neck feels great in hand, and the craftsmanship from this era genuinely rivals some of the newer American models.

If you’re after a dependable Tele with classic looks, great tone, and quality that holds its own, this one’s a great pickup.

Buying direct from me

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.

Shipping & Insurance

Ships within 1 business day via UPS or FedEx Ground — typically 3-5 business days in transit. Every guitar is fully insured for its full purchase price, with signature required on delivery. Packed properly — hard cases shipped in a double box with foam padding, strings detuned, neck and headstock supported.

Flat $75 shipping anywhere in the US, no matter the price of the guitar. Full details in the shipping policy.

Returns

3 days from delivery to decide. That's your window to let me know, not to get it back to me. Play it, check it against the listing, and message me if anything's off.

Not as described, or damaged in shipping? Full refund, including the shipping you paid, and I pay return shipping. “As described” means everything in the listing: photos, condition notes, specs and included accessories. Every guitar is insured for its full price. If it's damaged in transit, I handle the carrier claim, and you choose between a repair at my expense or a full refund.

Changed your mind? Return it in the condition it arrived, with everything it came with, for a flat $150 fee. The fee is the same whether the guitar was $900 or $9,000, not a percentage. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Start any return through the return policy page or contact me directly before shipping anything back.
