Here’s a beautiful example of a mid-90s Japanese Fender ST-62 Strat in a classic sunburst finish. This one’s from the 1995-96 range and has all the vintage-inspired details you’d expect—slab-style rosewood fretboard, vintage-style tuners, and that unmistakable ’60s Strat feel.
It was recently set up and plays great. The neck is comfortable, the action’s dialed in, and the pickups have that warm, glassy tone these MIJ Strats are known for. Super versatile and just feels solid in hand.
For its age, it’s in excellent condition. There are a few small blemishes here and there—nothing major, just honest wear that adds a bit of character. Frets are in great shape and everything works as it should.
If you’re looking for a Strat with vintage soul, Japanese craftsmanship, and a setup that’s ready to go, this one’s definitely worth a look.
