Questions about this guitar?

This is a Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH in Amber, and it is one of the more eye-catching modern Tele variants Fender has put out. Instead of the usual slab-body Tele formula, this one has a carved flame maple top over a mahogany body, cream binding, a set mahogany neck, dual humbuckers, and a much more refined feel while still keeping the simple, direct Telecaster layout.

The Amber finish is easily the centerpiece here. The flame top has a deep golden look with strong horizontal figuring that really jumps in the light, and the matching headstock ties the whole guitar together nicely. It has a classy boutique-style look without losing the recognizable Tele shape. The natural mahogany back and sides also look great and give it a warmer, more upscale feel than a standard Telecaster.

This model is known for its Seymour Duncan humbucker setup, with a ’59-style neck pickup and Pearly Gates-style bridge pickup configuration from the factory. The pickups currently installed are Seymour Duncan-branded and match the expected setup for this model, though I am listing pickup originality as unsure since I cannot independently verify whether these exact units are the original set. Either way, the guitar sounds excellent—full, punchy, and much bigger than a traditional Tele, with the push/pull coil tap adding extra flexibility when you want a leaner, more single-coil-style response.

The set neck gives this guitar a smooth, comfortable feel, and the 25.5" scale keeps it snappy and articulate. It is light, comfortable, and really fun to play, with a great setup, spot-on intonation, and very good frets. The action feels good as-is, the electronics test properly, and everything is functioning as it should.

Condition is excellent overall. The guitar is very clean, the flame top looks incredible, and there is no damage to note. The fretboard is clean, the neck is excellent, and the body presents extremely well. It has clearly been well cared for and is ready to play.

No case included.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
