This 2019 Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH is one of those guitars that completely changes what people expect from a Tele. The Amber finish and deeply figured flame-maple top are ridiculously striking in person, but this is much more than a pretty top. With a set mahogany neck, mahogany body, Seymour Duncan humbuckers, coil splitting, and a lightweight 6.27 lb build, it has the feel and versatility of a much more expensive guitar.
The Seymour Duncan ’59 neck pickup is smooth, warm, and clear, while the Pearly Gates bridge pickup brings the bite, output, and classic Texas-style attitude. Pull up on the tone control to split the coils and you get a more open, brighter voice that makes this guitar far more flexible than the typical two-humbucker Tele. It was just professionally set up and intonated, and it plays super well with a fast, comfortable medium-thickness neck and excellent fretwork.
What stood out to me:
- Absolutely killer flame maple top in Amber with cream binding
- Light at just 6.27 lbs on my scale
- Seymour Duncan ’59 neck and Pearly Gates bridge humbuckers
- Push-pull coil split for added tonal flexibility
- Set mahogany neck gives it a more substantial, high-end feel than a standard bolt-on Tele
- Recently set up and intonated with low, comfortable action
- Excellent frets, straight neck, and no breaks, cracks, major dings, or significant scratches
Condition:
Excellent overall condition. It is exceptionally clean with very little sign of use. The finish presents beautifully, the binding is clean, the flame top is outstanding, and there are no structural concerns whatsoever. Electronics function properly, intonation is spot on, and it is ready to play immediately.

Like all my guitars, this one has been thoroughly inspected, tested, cleaned, and set up before listing. I do not list guitars with hidden issues, and I photograph them carefully so you can buy with confidence.
⏳ Quick Note: These guitars don’t usually sit for long. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I often hear from watchers after a listing has already sold. If this one is on your radar, now is the time to grab it.
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
