This Fender Player II Modified Strat is an absolute stunner in Sunshine Yellow, and it looks every bit as vibrant in person as it does in photos. Overall condition is excellent, bordering on like-new. The only thing worth noting is a small bump on the side of the body (clearly shown in the photos) that’s genuinely hard to spot unless you’re hunting for it.
What really sets this Strat apart is what’s under the hood.
It’s been upgraded with a Gotham 2-point tremolo, which feels incredibly smooth and stable—far better than the stock unit. Paired with that is a full Righteous Sound “Opal Road” pickup set, a boutique upgrade that ran $400 on its own. These pickups deliver everything you want from a Strat: articulate highs, full and glassy cleans, and a bold, harmonically rich response when pushed. It sounds alive and inspiring, with a ton of character across all positions.
The maple fretboard is clean, fast, and comfortable, and the guitar has been properly set up so it plays effortlessly—low action, great feel, and no surprises. It’s one of those Strats that immediately feels “right” in your hands.
