This one is flat-out vibey.

From across the room, it looks like something pulled straight out of the late ’60s — that big, fully hollow body, sharp double cutaway, and that deep 3-Color Sunburst that melts from golden amber to rich red and into dark outer edges. Under light, the finish absolutely glows.

But once you pick it up, it surprises you.

The Coronado is fully hollow — no center block — which gives it an airy, open resonance you feel immediately. It’s lightweight, lively, and incredibly responsive. Strum a chord unplugged and it blooms. Plug it in and it stays articulate without getting muddy.

The Fender Fidelitron-style humbuckers give this guitar its identity:

  • Clear, chimey top end
  • Tight, focused low end
  • Slight Gretsch-like sparkle
  • Excellent note separation

It’s not a thick, compressed humbucker tone — it’s bright, punchy, and dynamic. Perfect for indie, alternative, surf, blues, classic rock, and anything that benefits from clarity and character.

Now let’s talk about the real reason this one stands out:

The setup.

This guitar is dialed. The action is super low. No buzzing. No dead spots. The frets feel buttery smooth. It practically plays itself. I genuinely have a hard time putting this one down — it’s currently my go-to when I just want to grab something and enjoy playing.

Condition-wise, it’s amazing.

The only thing to note is a small fade mark on the back of the neck — purely cosmetic and hard to notice unless you’re looking for it. Otherwise, this guitar is in excellent condition. Clean finish. Clean hardware. Clean fretboard. It presents beautifully.

You’re getting:

  • Fully hollow construction
  • Dual Fidelitron-style humbuckers
  • 3-Color Sunburst finish
  • Vintage-style floating bridge and trapeze tailpiece
  • Fantastic professional setup
  • Hard shell case included

These Modern Player Coronados were produced from 2014–2018 and have developed a quiet following. They’re different. They have personality. And they don’t feel like every other semi-hollow on the market.

If you want something that looks vintage, plays effortlessly, and has a unique Fender voice — this is it.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note

These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
