This is one of the coolest modern Fender reissues I’ve come across — the HM Strat is pure late-’80s/early-’90s hot-rod Fender energy, reborn with modern playability and serious versatility.
Originally designed as Fender’s high-performance answer to the shred era, this Limited Edition reissue absolutely delivers. The slim, fast neck feels effortless, the 24 jumbo frets invite aggressive lead work, and the compound radius fingerboard stays comfortable whether you’re chording low or ripping up high.
The pickup configuration is where this thing really shines. The high-output humbucker brings tight, articulate punch for rock and metal, while the single coils retain that unmistakable Fender clarity for cleaner and edge-of-breakup tones. Paired with the Floyd Rose tremolo, this guitar handles everything from subtle shimmer to full dive-bomb abuse without flinching — and it stays locked in.
Condition-wise, this one was mint, but unfortunately took a bump during transit on a previous sale. There is visible scraping on the lower right side of the body, clearly shown in the photos. The neck has a satin smoothed feel as well. It’s purely cosmetic — no cracks, no structural issues, no impact to playability or tone. Because of that, this is priced accordingly and represents a serious value if you’ve been hunting one of these.
