Questions about this guitar?

This is a Fender JV Modified ’50s Telecaster in Worn Blonde, a Made in Japan Tele that blends classic ’50s-style looks with a more modern playing feel. It has the right vintage-inspired ingredients—maple neck, single-coil Tele layout, brass saddle bridge, gold anodized pickguard, and that clean blonde finish—but with a neck and feel that make it more approachable than a strict vintage reissue.

The Worn Blonde finish looks great on this one. It has a soft, semi-transparent look where the wood grain still shows through the body, giving it a really classy vintage Tele appearance without looking plain. The gold anodized pickguard works especially well against the blonde finish and gives the whole guitar a sharper, more custom look than a standard white-guard Tele.

This particular guitar is currently wired with a 3-way switch and has a very straightforward, familiar Tele layout. The bridge pickup is the highlight for me—it has that Tele clarity and snap, but it also has a clean, warm character that keeps it from sounding thin or harsh. The neck pickup balances nicely for rounder tones, and the middle position gives you the classic combined Tele sound. The pickups are not being represented as confirmed original, but the electronics test properly and the guitar sounds excellent.

The neck feels very good and comfortable, with the maple fretboard giving it that fast, immediate Tele response. The setup is solid, the intonation is spot on, and the frets are excellent. It plays easily and has that direct, lively feel that makes a good Telecaster so addictive.

Condition is very good overall. The guitar presents beautifully, but there are a few minor bumps and scrapes on the sides, including the marks shown in the close-up photos. The body and neck are both very good, with no functional issues noted. The fretboard is clean, the electronics pass testing, the frets are excellent, and the guitar plays and sounds great. No case is included.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!

Buying direct from me

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
