This Fender Deluxe Super Stratocaster in Crimson Transparent is one of those guitars that almost shouldn’t exist in this condition anymore. These models were only produced from 1997–2004, and they’ve become nearly impossible to find—especially untouched, original, and this clean. This one belonged to an 88-year-old collector who bought it simply to have it, not to play it, and the condition genuinely reflects that. It still had the original Fender bullet strings when I received it.
The Crimson Transparent finish lets the ash grain glow through the red tint, and the gold hardware + brown shell pickguard combo gives it that unmistakable late-90s Deluxe aesthetic. Fender leaned into the “modern but classy” vibe here—and they nailed it.
