I’ve handled a lot of Strats, and this particular one immediately has that “special run” feel before you even plug it in. The Daphne Blue satin finish is the first thing that jumps out — not glossy, not overly perfect-looking, but smooth and soft with that almost eggshell-style glow to it. Paired with the white pearloid guard, rosewood board, and clean white pickup covers, it has a really tasteful look that feels classy without being boring.

This is the Fender Cory Wong Signature Stratocaster, and what I like about it is that it still feels like a real Strat, just with the right modern touches. The body feels comfortable and balanced, the neck has that smooth satin feel, and the frets are buttery and basically feel like new. It’s one of those guitars that doesn’t fight you at all — easy bends, clean movement across the board, and a very polished feel under the hands.

Tone-wise, it has that crisp, clear, glassy Strat thing, but with more control and refinement than a typical vintage-style setup. The Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine pickups are made for clarity, snap, and that funky Strat articulation, but they’re not limited to just clean playing. It still has enough body and punch to feel full, especially when you start digging in. The 5-way switching gives you the familiar Strat positions, and the push/push control adds another useful layer without making the guitar feel complicated.

Condition is excellent and honestly very close to like-new. The body is extremely clean, the neck is excellent, the electronics test perfectly, the intonation is spot on, and it has a recent setup with new strings. The only thing I could find is a small indentation on the bottom of the body near the strap button. Otherwise, this one is seriously clean. It weighs 7.41 pounds on my scale and comes with the original Fender molded hardshell case, certificate, hang tags, and paperwork.

What stood out to me:

  • Daphne Blue satin finish has a soft, classy glow in person
  • White pearloid pickguard looks killer against the blue
  • Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine pickup set
  • Smooth satin-feeling neck
  • Rosewood fretboard
  • Buttery, like-new frets
  • New strings
  • Recent setup
  • Intonation is spot on
  • Electronics test clean
  • Excellent overall condition
  • Only notable mark is a small indentation near the bottom strap button
  • 7.41 pounds on my scale
  • Includes original molded Fender hardshell case, certificate, hang tags, and paperwork

This is a great one if you want a Strat that feels refined but still has personality. It’s clean, lightweight, comfortable, and has that sharp Cory Wong-style clarity without feeling sterile. Visually, the satin Daphne Blue finish gives it a completely different presence than a standard glossy Strat, and in hand it feels every bit as good as it looks.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured via Reverb Safe Shipping.
